Place to sleep and nothing more. We're with 5 people at 3 rooms. The rooms are a bit run down, which isn't the worst, but the mold in the shower is disgusting, shower door broken.
Air-co went is probably not cleaned since it was installed, bedside tables have dirty finger spots almost as old as Rome.
24hrs+ after notifying the staff and nothing happened (we did get fresh towels after the "cleaning" - that's it).
Staff is friendly, but don't expect them to do anything.
~30 minutes walk from the Colloseum, 20 minutes walk from Metro.
If you get room from the yard it's pretty quiet, if from the street - forget about opening window for the night.
Breakfast extremely basic: 2 types of bread, one cheese, 2 types of ham. 3 types of fruit, some cereal. Some sweet croissants, cakes.
For this price I'm positive you can find a better place.
Cannot recommend.
Nice and quiet hotel. A bit far from main city centre but easy access to bus station. Their lobby needs improvement. I hope they get their sofas cleaned. Overall a nice place
Very nice Victorian type hotel little far from city but very quiet, good staff and try to get a breakfast included on the room price , not much selection on the breakfast but you will save time as the hotel is bit far from the city. They have a bar in the hotel as well and you can order a take away and sit outside in their garden and enjoy. Rooms are nice and clean and big .
Great service, lovely staff.
Nice rooms but slightly rundown -the fridge in our room didn't work, but they let us put our stuff in their fridge, so it was fine. Ac was weak.
A bit out of town but convenient to the bus to the train to the beach.
I stayed around June 2023 for one week. It was my worst hotel stay. The service was terrible. They served bad quality breakfast. It’s easy to understand that the hotel is not managed well. All the hotel employees are nervous. At the checkout, they tried to charge breakfasts that we didn’t have. Also, they charged a city tax which I later realized I paid in advance on Booking.com. Check your bill at the checkout! It’s definitely better to stay in a hostel instead of Hotel Cilicia!
Went with the 2 kids and got 2 rooms as they don’t have triples. Very nice and quiet, friendly staff, big own parking, great bathroom, comfy bed.
This place was the worst! The AC didn't work and they didn't have any other rooms available. The location was on a main street with so much traffic it took over an hour to get a taxi to the other hotel I booked. I wasn't able to get a refund from them and many things in the room were questionable. DONT BOOK HERE!
Charming hotel that may be a little worn but is well loved and the staff are wonderful. Nice location away from the bustle, with a quiet parking lot and park-like atmosphere outside. My only complaint is that the shower was small, otherwise it was an excellent place to stay.
